Stepper Motor, also known as a Step Motor, is a DC motor that divides a full rotation into a series of discrete steps. Each step corresponds to a fixed angular movement, allowing for precise control of position and speed without requiring feedback systems. Stepper motors are commonly used in applications such as 3D printers, CNC machines, and robotic positioning systems.

Servo Motor, or Servo, is a rotary actuator that integrates a motor, control circuit, and positional feedback system to achieve precise control of angular position. It operates through a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) signal sent to its control wire (usually orange). The PWM signal defines the rotation angle — the minimum pulse width corresponds to 0°, the maximum pulse width corresponds to 180°, and the signal typically repeats every 20 milliseconds.

Fan Motor is a DC motor that rotates when an electrical signal is applied. It is typically used to generate airflow for cooling, ventilation, or demonstration projects. The Gorillacell ESP32 Development Kit includes one (1) Fan Motor module, complete with a fan propeller, for experimenting with air movement, cooling mechanisms, and motor control projects.
