Gorillacell Module 063: Electromagnet
Table of Contents

Electromagnet is a device that converts electrical energy into magnetic force, allowing it to attract or repel metallic objects. Unlike natural magnets, electromagnets are artificial magnets whose magnetic field exists only when an electric current flows through them.
You can even create a simple electromagnet using a nail, electrical wire, and a power source: wind the wire around the nail and connect it to the power source, and the nail becomes magnetized while current flows.
The Gorillacell ESP32 Development Kit includes one (1) Electromagnet module for experimenting with magnetic actuation, electromagnetic projects, and interactive experiments.
