Gorillacell Module 056: MQ5 Gas Sensor

MQ Gas Sensor provides a series of gas sensors designed to detect different types of gases. These sensors are based on Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) technology, where the sensing material changes its resistance when exposed to specific gases. Because of this property, they are also known as chemiresistors. Using the voltage divider principle, the presence and approximate concentration of a gas can be detected. The Gorillacell ESP32 Development Kit comes with one (1) MQ-5 Gas Sensor module. The MQ-5 sensor is capable of detecting LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) and Methane (CH₄), making it suitable for gas leak detection, environmental monitoring, and safety systems.

Gorillacell Module 055: MQ4 Gas Sensor

MQ Gas Sensor provides a series of gas sensors designed to detect different types of gases. These sensors are based on Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) technology, where the sensing material changes its resistance when exposed to specific gases. Because of this characteristic, they are also known as chemiresistors. By applying the voltage divider principle, the presence and approximate concentration of a gas can be detected. The Gorillacell ESP32 Development Kit comes with one (1) MQ-4 Gas Sensor module. The MQ-4 sensor is specifically designed to detect Methane (CH₄) gas, making it suitable for natural gas leak detection, environmental monitoring, and safety systems.

Gorillacell Module 054: MQ3 Gas Sensor

MQ Gas Sensor provides a series of gas sensors designed to detect different types of gases. These sensors are based on Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) technology, where the sensor’s material changes its resistance depending on the gas it is exposed to. They are also known as chemiresistors because of this property. Using the voltage divider principle, the presence and approximate concentration of a gas can be detected. The Gorillacell ESP32 Development Kit comes with one (1) MQ-3 Gas Sensor module. The MQ-3 sensor is specifically designed for detecting alcohol vapors, providing output readings in mg/L or ppm. It is commonly used in breath analyzers and alcohol detection systems.

Gorillacell Module 053: MQ2 Gas Sensor

MQ Gas Sensor belongs to a family of gas sensors designed to detect different types of gases. These sensors are based on Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) technology, where the sensor’s material changes its resistance in response to the concentration of a specific gas. Because of this behavior, MQ sensors are also known as chemiresistors. By applying the voltage divider principle, the presence and approximate concentration of a gas can be determined. The Gorillacell ESP32 Development Kit comes with one (1) MQ-2 Gas Sensor module. The MQ-2 sensor can detect Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Methane, Smoke, and Hydrogen, making it suitable for gas leakage detection and air quality monitoring applications.

Gorillacell Module 052: Fingerprint Sensor

Fingerprint Sensor is a type of biometric sensor used to identify or verify a person based on their unique fingerprint pattern. Biometric sensors function by capturing and analyzing physical or behavioral characteristics, such as fingerprints, facial features, or iris patterns, for secure authentication. The Gorillacell ESP32 Development Kit comes with a Fingerprint Sensor module capable of enrolling, storing, and matching fingerprints directly through the microcontroller interface. This makes it ideal for security systems, access control, and personal identification applications.
